The house is peacefully situated on a hill, approx. 3 km from Paciano, approx. 10 km from the Trasimeno lake, and approx. 40 km west of Perugia. Groceries can be purchased in Paciano. The comfortable villa is tastefully decorated and offers every modern convenience. You will enjoy a panoramic view of the hilly surroundings and the Trasimeno lake with its small islands. This is an ideal place to unwind, but also to take various cultural daytrips. You can visit the beautiful cities of Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto, Siena, and Arezzo. There are several Etruscan tombs in the vicinity of Chiusi that can be viewed and the town itself features a museum on the Etruscan era. The banks of the Trasimeno lake feature many charming villages; the islands in the lake can also be visited (you can take the boat in Passignano sul Trasimeno). The lovely villages of Tuscany can also be easily reached and are well worth visiting: Sarteano, Montepulciano, Pienza, San Quirico d’Orcia, and Bagno Vignoni.
