It offers a splendid view of the hilly countryside. San Ginese di Compito is located approximately 11 km southeast of Lucca and 30 km from the sea. This beautiful region offers a large variety of walking and cycling tours. There are numerous characteristic villages in the vicinity, such as Calle, S. Andrea, Ruota, and Castelvecchio. The town of Lucca, with its walled historical centre and its well known round plaza is a real treat one should not forego. The beautiful cities of Florence and Pisa can also be easily reached. Sea: 30 km. Note: There is a small cottage, approximately 100 m from the house on the same grounds, which is occasionally inhabited by the owner.
