ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Authentic country house, a so-called ‘casale’, with a private swimming pool and a large plot, very peacefully located at 2.5 km from Palazzone, about 8 km from San Casciano dei Bagni. The house was recently renovated with original elements kept and preserved. The furniture is well maintained and comfortable and you can enjoy a nice view over the wooded surrounding hills. The house is suitable for disabled persons since there is a bedroom with an adapted bathroom on the ground level. You will find yourself here in a lovely area where you can go for beautiful hikes and excursions. The region includes many typical villages with narrow streets and nice square : Cetona, Piazze, San Casciano dei Bagni, Celle sul Rigo and Radicofani are just a few. Chiusi and Orvieto are also definitely worth a visit, as well as the lake of Trasimeno (at about 5 km) with nice villages along the shore. About 45 km further away you will find the Bolsena Lake. Should you be prepared to drive a little longer, you can visit the beautiful cities of Siena, Perugia and Assisi. You can find a spa at Bagno Vignoni and, a little further, at Chianciano Terme.
