There are a lot of characteristic villages in the area. There are lots of opportunities for day trips in the area: Lago di Trasimeno, Chianciano Terme (spa/Kurort). The magnificent cities of Arezzo, Siena, Perugia, Assisi, Cortona, Castiglion Fiorentina and Monte San Savino, Montepulciano are more than worth visiting. In this region you can go walking to your heart’s content. NB: The owner is a renowned cook in this region; on request he will prepare a lunch or diner for you with dishes typical for this area.
