ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Fully detached holiday home. There is a garden. There is a covered terrace. You share the grounds with the house of the owner (but you are properly separated from each other). Nicely restored, distinctive house. The residence is on the edge of the village. There is a recreation lake with beaches 1 km away. The landscape in this region is woody and hilly. The house is situated nice and central for exploring the region. You can make canoe tours, go fishing and/or swimming on the river/lake Rappbodestausee. There are lots of opportunities for day trips in the area: der Carlhausturm (50m hoch/high), Rübeland (Grotte). The magnificent cities of Wernigerode, Quedlinburg, Blankenburg and Elbingerode (Erzgrube Bückenberg) are more than worth visiting. There is a bakery/bread depot at 0.5 km. Shops can be found in Hasselfelde (5km). Restaurants can be found in Hasselfelde. The mountainous region is a paradise for hikers.
