ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Fully detached villa with private pool, located in a quiet part of the lovely Provençal town of Carpentras. The pleasant town centre of Carpentras is approximately 2.5 km from the house. There are lots of cafés, restaurants, terraces and many nice shops and, of course, supermarkets. Carpentras lies to the east of the charming town of Orange renowned for its Roman monuments. In the vicinity there are lots of opportunities for walking and cycling. Above all Mont Ventoux is very close and is well known from the Tour de France, it is the highest mountain in Provence and visited all year round by devotees of cycling that want the honour of reaching the top of this legendary peak. In the region there are lots of interesting towns and villages to discover such as Orange, Avignon, Vaison la Romaine, the intimate little place Isle sur la Sorgue and of course Sault with its lavender fields that blossom in July. In addition there are countless beautiful villages such as Bédoin, Mazan, Caromb, Fontaine de Vaucluse and Sablet. You can also go for day trips to the wonderful Luberon mountain range with its breath-taking villages and landscapes or to the Dentelles de Montmirail. Golf: Avignon (25 km).
