ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Detached Provencal house with a large private pool. The pool is located approximately 50 m from the house and is situated a bit higher; it can be reached by well maintained stairs. The house stands on a magnificent wooded estate of 22 ha. The owner lives on the same estate in a beautiful house that goes back to 1788 and has its own swimming pool. Behind the holiday house a splendid view can be enjoyed over the forests, the mountains and the Massif des Maures. The house is situated a few hundred meters from the village of Taradeau, where most of the groceries can be purchased (the rest of the groceries can be bought in Les Arcs or in Vidauban). Taradeau offers a very good wine cooperation. Taradeau is situated south of Draguignan and northwest of Saint Tropez, in a beautiful wooded and hilly countryside. Fine walks can be made in the vicinity of Taradeau. During these walks many magnificent views can be discovered of the mountains behind Draguignan and of Les Maures. Delightful trips can be attempted to Les Maures, the charming abbey of Le Thoronet and the Gorges du Verdon. There are also many lovely villages in the vicinity, such as Lorgues, Salernes, Tourtour, Flayosc, Les Arcs, Le Luc, La Garde Freinet and Grimaud. A large Provencal market is held in Lorgues every Tuesday. The sea near Fréjus, Saint Raphaël or Sainte Maxime can be reached in 35-45 minutes by car (approx. 30 km).
