ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Detached, Provencal villa set in quiet afforested surroundings. The house has a beautiful, large, enclosed swimming pool and is surrounded by substantial grounds with many trees as well as the ruins of a former hunting hut. The house is situated a few kilometres south of the village of Le Thoronet, that is known for its splendid Cistercian abbey. Le Thoronet is located in between the towns of Draguignan and Brignoles. There are many opportunities for taking excellent walks in the wooded and hilly surroundings. Daytrips can be made to the many charming villages, such as le Luc, Lorgues, Salernes, and Carcès, or to the Lac de Carcès, the mountains of les Maures, or the sea near St Tropez or Fréjus. The Côte d'Azur, near Cannes and Antibes, can also be easily reached. The owner offers sailing trips round St Tropez at a charge, on a 10,50 m long sailing ship (approx. 275 Euros for 4 persons, 25 Euros per extra person, in 2006).
