ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Lovely spacious villa in a peaceful setting with a nice large private pool. The house is on a large plot of land and has a lovely view through the trees to the village of Barjols. Barjols is an old and busy village reachable on foot in about 5 minutes. By car you have to take a longer detour making the trip about 2 km. The village is famous for its many fountains (22). It also has a lovely waterfall. There are all kinds of shops, a supermarket and lots of restaurants and cafés. Barjols is approximately 20 km northeast of the lovely town of Brignoles en Saint Maximin. There are lots of possibilities for walking and cycling in the area. In the area there are other attractive villages such as Salernes (famous for its splendid tiles and ceramics – lots of things available at great prices), Pontevès, Carcès, Lorgues and Correns. The brilliant Lac de Ste Croix is a good half hour’s drive and is well worth a visit as are the imposing canyons of the Gorges du Verdon. A trip to the Luberon with its many pleasant villages and lovely landscapes is also worth doing, as is a trip to the superb towns of Toulon, Aix en Provence, Marseilles or even Nice and Cannes. Golf at Nans les Pins and also Flassans (Golf de Barberoux), approx. 30 km. Mediterranean See about an hour and a quarter away at Hyères.
