ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Fully freestanding, spacious and tastefully furnished villa with a large, fine private pool with lots of privacy. The villa is located in a quiet villa neighbourhood of the attractive bathing resort and harbour town La Ciotat. La Ciotat, located halfway between the splendid cities of Marseille and Toulon, has lovely sandy beaches, and you can go for delightful strolls along the many nice cafés, restaurants and little shops on the boulevard and side streets near the sea. The coast between la Ciotat and Cassis is very impressive, with high cliffs and splendid views of the sea. Cassis, a very friendly seaside resort, features the well-known fjord-like ‘calanques’ with beautifully clear sea water. There are also attractive villages in the vicinity, such as Cadière d'Azur, Signes and La Beausset, and especially the especially attractive medieval town Le Castellet. There are also picturesque seaside resorts such as le Lecques, Bandol, Cassis, and Sanary sur Mer. You can make splendid walks along the sea in the ‘calanques’ of Cassis and in the mountains of la Sainte Baume. A recommended outing is to take the boat to the Ile de Bendor near Bandol. City lovers can enjoy themselves in Marseille, Aix-en-Provence and Toulon; Avignon and Arles are also within easy reach. The beach and the centre of la Ciotat are 3km from the house.
