ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Small detached house, called 'le Cabanon', on large grounds near the main house. It comes with a fine, large, private swimming pool in a special shape, that is shared with the owner who lives in the main house. The main house is located on the opposite side of the swimming pool approx. 30 m away. The cabanon comes with a double bed, cooking facilities, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet, and has a separate entrance to the grounds. The cabanon is for rent in May and June only. The grounds and the swimming pool offer a fantastic view of the famous Montagne de Sainte Victoire, made immortal by the well-known painter Cézanne. The house stands in a tranquil residential area, approx. 1.5 km from the pretty village of Trets. Trets has a fine medieval centre with town gates; groceries can be purchased here. Trets is situated approx. 20 km southeast of the exquisite, lively city of Aix-en-Provence. This city has beautiful shopping streets and outdoor cafes. Cours Mirabeau is the place to watch and be watched in particular. The fine port of Marseille, with its charming old city centre, is well worth visiting. Other daytrips that are recommended are to the mountains of the Massif de la Sainte Baume, to the magnificent landscapes and villages of the Luberon, or to the Montagne Ste Victoire. It is also worth visiting the sea at the seaside resorts of La Ciotat or Cassis; a round-trip boat takes the visitor to the 'calanque' (coves) at Cassis. Golf: approx. 10 km (in between Fuveau and Rousset).
