The house is located on the edge of the medieval centre of Villefranche, which has an impressive citadel. Villefranche is situated at one of the most beautiful bays of South France. The beach is only a 10-minute walk away. Villefranche lies in between the renowned, fashionable cities of Nice and Monaco. You can make trips to the peninsula of St Jean Cap Ferrat, to beautiful coastal villages, such as Eze and Roquebrune, or to for instance Peillon, Tende and Sospel in the hinterland. The mountains, and Parc du Mercantour in particular, are definitely worth visiting.
