ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Detached house 35 km south of Cherbourg on the Normandy Peninsula. Opposite the house on the same block of land about 50 metres away there is an old “manoir”, an old country house that is permanently inhabited. There is a large lawn between the two houses. The property is in a very peaceful setting, far from the road, in beautiful green surroundings. The holiday home is well equipped and mainly furnished with authentic furniture. From here you can easily visit the famous landing beaches from WWII. In Ste. Mère-Eglise about 8 km away there is a war museum. The Normandy Peninsula is a peaceful and flat region that is perfect forcycling and walking. On the coast there are various lookout points such as Pointe de Barfleur en Cap Lèvy.
