ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Holiday house in a very peaceful location at the edge of the village of Liesville-sur-Douve. Liesville lies on the river Douve, about 10 km northwest of Carentan and 15 km from the invasion beach Utah Beach. This house, built in 2007, is located in a nature reserve and offers a striking view from the living room over the surrounding fields. In the winter the fields are occasionally under water. The house has all amenities. The house has a spacious fenced garden where children can freely play. In the area you can also visit different places such as Bayeux, Carentan or St. Lô. In the region too there are various museums dedicated to the Normandy Invasion on 6th June 1944: at Utah Beach, in St. Mère-Eglise or, for example, in Ste. Marie du Mont.
