The house is located in a peaceful area on a access path to the beach promenade. The sea and beach are about 1.5 km from the house. The garden around the house is lawn. The property is bordered at the back by a piece of land with a few horses, and to the sides by the neighbouring gardens. Hauteville is close to the town of Coutances, famous for its cathedral and also close to Granville, a seaport with lookout point.
