The surrounding area is very quiet; the towns of Albi (Toulouse-Lautrec museum and the St Cecile Cathedral with its almost terrifying fresco entitled \"the Last Judgement\") and Cordes sur Ciel, which seems to be floating in the air, are well worth visiting.
