ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Fully detached stone house of character with a nice large private swimming pool and a magnificent view over the surrounding area. Peacefully located in the hamlet of Bestex about 1 km from the village of Valzergues. The house is very suitable for large groups. It has 6 bedrooms and sleeps a total of 12 persons. For an additional fee you can also rent the studio at the side of the house to accommodate 3 extra people (double sofa bed and a single bed, kitchenette and bathroom with shower, sink and toilet). Valzergues lies to the south of the town of Decazeville. You can go to Montbazens (2.5 km) for your groceries. In the area there are the beautiful medieval villages Conques, Najac Cordes sur Ciel and slightly further away the lovely towns of Albi, Rodez, Cahors and Figeac. For nature lovers there is also a lot to enjoy. The area is sparsely populated with lots of hills and forests, ideal for walkers and sport cyclists. The Gorges de l'Aveyron in Najac are certainly worth a visit too. Further afield are trips to the beautiful valley of the river Lot (above all between Cahors and Figeac it is particularly magnificent), and also to the new viaduct over the Tarn at Millau, with its extensive span and height, a new wonder of the world.
