ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Fully detached holiday chalet. The residence is 3,5 km from the village Le Val d'Ajol, The residence is close to the hamlet. Amazing view of the mountain landscape. There are plenty of places to visit in this region. There are lots of opportunities for day trips in the area: Plombières-les-Bains, Remiremont, Gérardmer. In terms of nature a trip to Le Ballon d'Alsace is definitely recommended. There is a bakery/bread depot at 3,5 km. Shops can be found in Les Val d'Ajol. There is a supermarket at 3,5 km, Magnificent area for lovers of walking and nature. Extensive cycling opportunities (for the active cyclist!). There are cross-country skiing opportunities in the region. THE COLS OF THE VOSGES: In the Vosges the sporting cyclist can enjoy him/herself and test his or her form. Within a small area east of Gérardmer you will find a number of beautiful and famous cols, like the Col de la Schlucht (17 km long, 1.100 m high), the Markstein (20 km long, 1.200 m high), the Petit Ballon (12 km long, 1.150 m high) and the Grand Ballon (13 km long, 1.350 m high).
