ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION A house in the middle of a beautiful 8 hectares domain, with buildings that are on the monuments list and with horses and pony stables and large open air manege. The house is on the central inner place but has a rather large private plot on the backside with a pair of lovely old magnolias; this plot borders the river. The house is tastefully furnished, with the old natural stone walls mostly visible inside. Naturally it is no place for people who want to spend their vacation peacefully and alone. It is really quite suitable for people who like an animated atmosphere and especially suitable for people who want to ride horses (especially for children): Here you can ride or follow lessons at all levels. The domain is located on a beautiful spot, between the woods and the hills, on the river Saulx (where it is possible to fish with a permit). Near this domain you will find a private castle which was originally an abbey from 1140. Lisle-en-Rigault are between the cities of Saint Dizier and the beautiful Bar-le-Duc, a city with many buildings from the renaissance located at about 13 km. You can go to the lively villages of Lisle-en-Rigault for your groceries and to Bar le Duc for a supermarket. Due to the location in the middle of the vast woods you will find here many hiking and cycling trails and of course places to ride horses or ponies. South west of Saint Dizier lies the vast lake of Der Chantecoq, a paradise for watersports amateurs. To the north east is the beautiful city of Nancy with its famous Place Stanislas, a city on the UNESCO list of protected world monuments. Golf at Bar-le-Duc (10 km).
