ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Very peacefully located detached house with a private swimming pool next to the hamlet of Le Pech. Le Pech, which is part of the village of Fauroux, is about 9 km south west of the nice village of Lauzerte which is built on a hill. This is the department of Tarn et Garonne. The region is also called the Bas Quercy. It is a mostly agricultural region with fields full of wheat, corn and sunflower in the Summer. The region is rather thinly inhabited with almost all the lovely villages built on hills. The landscape is hilly and open. The rural roads offer another beautiful view. The comfortably furnished house has a large garden and spacious covered terrace where you can enjoy a free view of the surroundings while keeping all your privacy. You can also seek the shadows under the covered terrace. You can go fishing without a permit in a fish-pond 50 metres from the house. This pond belongs to the owners, a charming couple who can guide you around the region if necessary. The owners house is about 25 metres further away. They have their own swimming pool on the other side of their house. Thus they will not be using your swimming pool. You can go to Lauzerte (9 km) or the little town of Moissac (15 km) for groceries. It is also possible to go for excursions to the villages of Lauzerte, Montcuq or Castelnau-Montraitier. A little further are the university town of Toulouse, the wine town of Cahors or Albi with its nice cathedral. Golf: Espalais, Sauveterre (25 km).
