ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Detached house with a private pool in a quiet location in the hamlet of Lestrade. Lestrade is about 2 km from the village of Themines and about 10 km south of Gramat. The hamlet of Lestrade has 5 or 6 houses. Apart from a jeu de boules under the plane trees, Lestrade has no other facilities. In Themines there is all you need for daily groceries; for a large supermarket you need to go to Gramat. The house, an old farmhouse, was totally rebuilt recently and newly furnished. On the ground floor at garden level there is a living room and a spacious kitchen. The three bedrooms and the bathroom are on the first floor. This floor also has a street level entrance on the same level. This house (130 m2 surface area) is equipped for 4 persons. There is room for a possible 5th person on the sofa bed in the living room. A short distance from the house and well worth visiting are Rocamadour (18 km) built into the rocks and the famous Gouffre de Padirac. Here you go up to 100 metres underground and take an incredible tour along an underground river. The Dordogne river valley is close by as are towns such as Bretenoux (28 km), La Roque Gageac, Domme and Beynat. In addition you are not far from the Célé river valley (in Figeac en Lot). Also Cantal is easy to reach. The town of Maurs is about 40 km away. Golf: St Céré (19 km).
