ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Detached house a few kilometres from Gourdon, about 50 km north of Cahors in southwest France. This house is surrounded by a spacious plot of land. The house is in a enchanting, quiet spot in a small woodland. In this house you are in the middle of nature and have lots of privacy. The house is simply furnished, but everything you need is at hand. The main entrance is through the kitchen that has a door to the living room. The bathroom with shower and toilet are next to the living room. From the living room there are some stairs up to the bedroom. This is open - there is no door. Despite the calm setting the house is only 5 km from Gourdon where you will find everything you need, cafés, restaurants, shops, supermarkets and a weekly market during the summer. Trips that can be easily done: Sarlat and Beynac on the river Dordogne. To the south there is the wine region around the town of Cahors and the river Lot. Other sights in the department of Lot are quite close for visiting include: St. Cirq Lapopie and Rocamadour.
