ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Detached wooden chalet with private pool, in St Sauveur Lalande, about 30 km north-west of the town of Bergerac. The chalet is modern, built in 2006 and furnished with all amenities. The chalet comprises a modern kitchen; an American fridge, a stereo and two of the three bedrooms have their own en-suite. The house is in the western part of the Dordogne region, famous for its river, monuments and chateaux. The area around the house is very quiet with lots of wooded land, part of the Forêt du Landais. If you travel about 30 km to the west you come to the famous wine region of Bordeaux, in particular the village of St-Emilion. The entrance to the motorway is 15 km from the house, as are the towns of Montpon and Mussidan where you can get all your groceries and other things you need.
