ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Freestanding house in a very quiet location in the hamlet of La Rochette, a good kilometre south of the town of Saint-Aignan on the Cher river. Saint-Aignan is approximately 40km south of Blois, in the heart of the Loire district. The house, which is built against a bluff, is equipped with all conveniences. The living area is more than 100m2 and thus larger than what you might think from the photo. There is little or no traffic in the hamlet. The patio provides an lovely view of the surrounding fields and hills. The house is especially suitable as a base for trips to the many attractive locations and castles in the vicinity: Chenonceaux (25km), Loches (25km), Montrichard (15km), Chambord (20km), Valençay (20km), and Cheverny (27km). The Zoo Parc of Beuval, a 20,000-hectare zoo that offers more than you can possibly see in a single day, is nearby. You can do your shopping in Saint Aignan. Swimming pool: Saint Aignan.
