ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Beautiful old watermill in Vendenesse-les-Charolles about 50 km west of Macon in the southern part of the Bourgogne region. This house is in a very quiet location at the end of the long private driveway. There is a small river that runs parallel to the driveway and behind the house along the spacious garden that offer absolute privacy. The house is furnished in contemporary style and equipped with all conveniences, including a wood stove in the living room, so that a stay here in the less warm periods late and early in the year are also pleasant. The house has 4 bedrooms, the smallest of which is next to the living room (bedroom 3). You have to pass through this bedroom to get to the living room and kitchen. In the town of Charolles, a few kilometres away, there is everything you need. The town of Cluny, 30 km east of Vendenesse, is well known for its beautiful old abbey from the Middle Ages. To the west and south of the city of Macon are the famous wine regions of Macon and Beaujolais. The beautiful landscape here is characterized by the presence of wine everywhere. Ten kilometres west of the town of Macon you will find the Roche Solutré on the great river Saône. From the top of the Roche there is a beautiful view of the area.
