ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Fully detached and very large wood chalet, situated on the edge of the hamlet of les Tavas. This tastefully decorated house in a quiet location has a splendid view over the hills, mountains and forests. The house is a few kilometres east of the lively village of Le Chambon-sur-Lignon, where everything you need in the way of shopping, restaurants and cafes can be found. Le Chabon is on the edge of the Ardèche and the Auvergne regions. In the vicinity there are many opportunities for hiking and biking and there are lovely places like Tence, St Agrève, Lalouvesc, Yssingeaux and Annonay. There are also some beautiful mountain lakes. The closest is the Lac de Devesset; a little further way there is one in Yssingeaux. You can go on lovely trips to the beautiful town of Le Puy en Velay with its magnificent cathedral and medieval centre and there is a lovely road via Fay sur Lignon to the source of the river Loire at Gerbier de Jonc.
