ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Detached house in La Mure, about 30 km south of Grenoble. The house is situated high on the edge of La Mure on one of the roads leading out of the village leading to a lovely panorama viewing point on the mountain tops. You have at your disposal a spacious veranda and a lovely large garden with lots of fruit trees. The furniture is mainly traditional; the kitchen and bathroom have, however, been modernised. You are in a good spot here to take wonderful trips to all the various Alpine cols in the area. From the Col d'Ornon in the direction of Le Bourg d'Oisans and Alpe d'Huez there is a splendid view. You can also go for some great walks here and for those that cycle there are the types of roads around here that are a real challenge. There are three or so lakes on the N85 in the direction of Grenoble for swimming and fishing. Also the little electric train that runs from La Mure is an attraction in itself; the train follows a beautiful trajectory from St. Georges de Commiers to La Mure.
