ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Castle on approximately 40.000m² of land, at the edge of the village Porcheresse. The castle dates from 1704 and was completely rebuilt in 1919. It has also been more recently renovated. The castle currently offers all the modern comforts, and the interior design gives the feeling of a past era. While there are ten bedrooms available we limit the maximum number of guests at any one time to 15 to ensure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. In the beautiful arched basements you will find a jacuzzi, sauna and play room. From the spacious terrace around the castle you can enjoy magnificent views. On the grounds you will find another holiday accommodation, the B69.063. The location of the houses is designed to ensure your privacy. Porcheresse is in the south of the Ardennes, in the region of the Haute-Lesse, approximately 40km (24.85 mi.) to the south-east of Dinant. While this region is one of the most beautiful in the Ardennes it is not over-run with mass tourism. In the hilly landscape, dotted with woods and farmland, you can enjoy lovely walks, especially along the Lesse Valley. In addition you will find quaint villages with characteristic village centres, such as Daverdisse, Séchery, Our, Lesse and Sohier. Within a range of approximately 30 minutes (driving) you will find many tourist attractions such as the Rochefort Caves, the Cathedral of Saint-Hubert, and Bouillon with its Medieval Castle. A variety of sport and recreation opportunities are available year-round. The nearby Euro Space Centre offers anyone with an interest in astronomy and space travel the opportunity to learn more about this field.
