ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Detached house delightfully located in the middle of nature about 8 km from La Roche en Ardenne. The excellent location of this house can be enjoyed throughout the year. The private forest surrounding the house extends over 13,000 m2 and has wild animals that often come to quench their thirst in the creek a few metres away. From the living room there is a real chance in the morning and evening of seeing deer or other wildlife grazing right next to the house. It is an ideal spot for those looking for peace and nature. We do ask that you respect the natural beauty surrounding the property. The house was completely refurbished during 2004, but the rustic atmosphere has been preserved. Those who want to get back to "civilization" just need to drive about 10 km towards La Roche en Ardenne. La Roche en Ardenne is situated on the Ourthe river, about 70 km south of Liège and 20 km west of Marche en Famenne. It is one of the most important tourist destinations in the Ardennes. The ruins of a medieval castle dominate the town. In addition, there are many museums, restaurants, mountain bike routes, marked hiking trails, both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool and a wildlife park. The Ourthe valley is particularly picturesque in the direction of Houffalize. The river is wild and capricious: ideal for fishing and kayaking. The Hérou rock is also here. It is well known in the Ardennes because of the beautiful views from it. Above the valley there are further stretches of forest, where you can walk to your heart's content.
