ACCOMMODATION AND LOCATION Medieval tower dating from the 13th century in a very quiet location in Ferrières. The house was recently restored and is nicely and comfortably furnished. The house is located in a park of 1 ha that is surrounded by several historic buildings. The owner lives in one of these buildings next to the holiday home. In the park there are 3 ponds (one of which is fenced) - families with children should therefore be careful. Around the house there is an extensive lawn where children have a great place for playing. Ferrières is located on the edge of the High Ardennes about 30 km south of Liège. It is a nice town with a square surrounded by tall trees and closely packed terraces reminiscent of Provence. The village is surrounded by wooded hills and small hamlets that lend themselves perfectly to long walks and other excursions. Until the 17th century the valley was full of craftsmen's forges with remnants left here and there.
